Le manche est en chne rouge du Japon. Il a une double Ura (forme l'arrire du fer), elles sont parfaitement excutes. C'est un ciseau de la trs clbre marque "Kiyotada" forge par Shimamura Kouzaburou (deuxime gnration) Tokyo. Kiyotada fait partie de ce qu'on appelle "les trois grands": Ichihiro, Tsunehiro et Kiyotada.
