Finding your sacred work & place of belonging
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
This book has spoken directly to my heart as I read about beholding the blessings of God's unfailing & faithful love, His true joy, His sovereignty & peace, His kindness & compassion & His pure goodness as I pursue holiness & righteousness. I found the practical application & daily unveiling exercises to be helpful as I work to become what I behold God to be. The section on belonging spoke personally to me as I have chosen the word "Belonging" as my Word of the Year for 2025. I now realize that only through belonging in God's abundant blessings in every aspect of my life will I find my sacred work & my true place of belonging to God & with others.
I recommend this book if you are searching for true meaning in truly & fully knowing God, yourself & your place of belonging.

Another sacred work by Dr. Saundra
Format: Paperback
I love this woman's writings, and Being Fully Known did not disappoint. My book is filled with underlining and marginal stars. It helped me more fully understand the sacred work that God is doing through me and humble me in the process. Highly recommended.

Transformational Guide
Format: Paperback
In a world where so many struggle with identity, connection, and purpose, Being Fully Known stands as a beacon of truth and transformation. More than just a book, it is a guide that invites readers into a deeper relationship with God, centering scripture as the foundation for discovering and embracing their God-given identity.
Dr. Dalton-Smith beautifully weaves biblical wisdom with real-life application, providing a refreshing and necessary perspective on what it means to behold, become, and belong. This book speaks directly to the heart, offering a pathway to joy, healing, and wholeness in a way that is both profound and accessible. Through its pages, readers are encouraged to overcome barriers often shaped by mental health struggles and past trauma, empowering them to step into their true selves—unapologetically and with confidence.
One of the book’s greatest strengths is its ability to breathe life into the reader’s journey. It does not shy away from the weight of disconnection and hardship but instead offers hope and restoration through the unwavering love of God. With authenticity and grace, Being Fully Known challenges readers to move beyond fear and self-doubt, embracing the fullness of who they were created to be.
This book is a must-read for anyone longing for deeper fulfillment, genuine connection, and a greater understanding of their divine purpose. Becoming aware of how God is moving in you and through you
Format: Kindle
"Being Fully Know" is about becoming "aware of how God is moving in you and through you." The author talked about how people hold back from being vulnerable or from doing what they believe God is calling them to do for fear of rejection. About not getting stuck thinking things are impossible for you but basing our thoughts and actions on God's truth. When we fear we're unlovable, remember God's steadfast love. Stop negative thought cycles, and allow the Holy Spirit's power to fully be at work in your life. Recognizing God's presence, seeing ourselves as God does, and surrendering to God.
She talked about how normal life can hold opportunities to do God's work and show his love, but also about being willing to stretch beyond your comfort zone to do something God's calling you to do. At the end of each chapter, she provided 3 Bible verses and how to apply them in your life. There were also 3 questions to help you think about what she said in the chapter. At the end of the book, there's a brief section with tips for a 21 day fast from media, certain foods, etc. The author used personal stories to illustrate what she was teaching, and her writing style was casual and encouraging. Overall, I'd recommend this insightful book. || Read a free eArc provided by Crossway. All opinions expressed are my own.
