The King George IV 1825 ShillingThe King George IV 1825 Shilling coin was a piece of currency issued during the reign of King George IV in the United Kingdom. The Shilling was a silver coin with a face value of 12 pence, equivalent to 1 20th of a pound sterling, and was part of the British pre decimal currency system. On the obverse side of the coin, you would find the portrait of King George IV. The specific design of the 1825 Shilling featured the bust of the King facing left.
