The VL38 Table lamp, designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in the late 1930's, was originally used in the Radiohuset building (the Danish broadcasting house) in Copenhagen (today the Royal Danish Academy of Music). Both this and the VL45 pendant used in the building, then started appearing in the Louis Poulsen catalogues after WW2. It was reintroduced to the LP catalogue in 2016 with the black versions in 2017.
