Saji san uses R2 Powdered steel for these beauties. Although a little heavier than many of our blades, the comfort and balance of the knife feels natural in the hand. With a rockwell hardness of around 63 64, these handmade beauties are designed and made for a lifetime of use. We almost never get these knives
