Description
Mary Clayton: An English School Girl Sampler by Hands Across the Sea SamplersMary Claytons sweet sampler is a delightful example of a young childs artwork. Mary tells us that she was aged 9 years when she stitched her sampler. She has given no year or location, however, we believe that the sampler is English and was stitched in the mid 1800s. An imposing building first catches the eye. Maybe this was a church run school or orphanage as the roof is topped by a cross. Above hovers two trumpeting angels signifying the word of God

My Kid’s Favorite
Format: Hardcover
This is a favorite in our house! Even the adults enjoy reading the National Geographic versions of 5-minute stories. The facts are actually interesting, and we read them again and again! Great for science minded kids.

Nice Book!
Format: Hardcover
Nice thick book, beautifully bound. Spectacular artwork. Easy read, good for a beginning reader, too. Lots of interesting shark facts. Good for a shark lover. Makes a fantastic gift when paired with an underwater jigsaw puzzle or something like the National Geographic Shark Excavation Stem Kit. Suitable for a variety of ages; preschool to grade 3. Sound purchase.
