After circling to 47,000 feet, SpaceShip One was released and pilot Mike Melvill fired its rocket, boosting it to over 62 miles (100 kilometers) above the surface of the Earth, qualifying it as the world's first privately built spaceship.

Bought 4 pairs of these shorts and had to send all four pairs back. They run very big, in the waist and overall. They are super long. My son is 5'10" and he said they were way longer than he wanted them. They appear to be good quality, heavy material jean shorts. I would recommend sizing down if this is the look you're going for. And they're a little pricey.
