The Mid Ride removes the drop offset of the standard CT3 mount and raises the hoslter to sit higher on the belt. The Mid Ride mount is belt width adjustable and can be set up to fit a 1. 5" all the way to a 2. 25" wide belt. Use & Instructions To attach the Mid Ride Belt mount, remove the original mount from the holster, and attach the Mid Ride.

More power, slightly lower (8%) MPG.

Installed on a 2.0 liter Subaru Impreza.
I drive up/down the I5 in california 3-4 times a year. For those that don't know there is about a 200 mile flat stretch where everyone runs at 75-85mph.
With various filters (FRAM, BOSCH, Subaru OEM), I would consistently get 29.8 mpg. Once I installed the K&N, I could feel the car pulling with a bit more power, but I noticed that I was getting about 27.5 mpg.
Totally worth it as the impreza is a little under powered and I don't drive many miles (6k/year) but if you are putting a lot of miles on your car, you may want to have more mpg.

Very good quality comparable to OEM at a much more reasonable price point.

Last December we bought our first new car in 21 years and the first thing I did is stock up on cabin and engine air filters. I've got nothing against dealership OEM parts and pieces but what I do have an issue with is the prices. Luckily, we all have a bit of control over access to OEM quality parts and pieces at significantly more reasonable prices via Amazon. This filter and it's matching cabin filter are excellent in value and take less than 5 minutes to replace. Compare that to paying the hourly rate at your dealer plus the dealership retail price and you'll do what I did and stock up on these two filters. Definitely recommended.
