Thelocactus lausseri (20 frø)Thelocactus lausseri, Sierra Ovejas, Coahuila, Mexico. Denne arten har kanskje ikke like storsltte blomster som f. eks. T. bicolor, men den veier mer enn opp for det med sine fantastiske torner. De lange sentraltornene er 5 7 cm lange og varierer fra gult til rdt, mens de kortere hvite radialtornene str i fin kontrast. Hovedblomstringen er i mai, men det kan godt dukke opp blomster gjennom sommeren. Blomstene er lyserosa med en mrkerosa midtstripe.
